Baby Trey

Trey went for his 4 month check up today. He weighs 18 lbs and 12 ounces and 27 1/4 inches long. He is off of the bell curve in his height weight and head circumference. I knew he was a big boy but WOW! The doctor said he was just proportionately a big baby! The doctor was asking questions about his development and he is right where he is supposed to be! However we he asked if trey was rolling over yet I said no and he laughed and said "well he is fine he just has a whole lot of body mass to move.". I could not help but laugh because it was so true!
Trey is at such a cute and fun age. I feel like I move him from station to station a lot at home during the day when I am not holding him. Yes I do hold him a lot too I can't help it he is so fluffy! He likes his activity mat, exersaucer, bouncer, laying flat on his back and having someone talk to him, and playing in his jumper. He tries to jump but has not quite got the hang of it, but it will not be very long!!We love this little guy more than words can express!!

Chicken Balls

On Saturday afternoon Bobby offered to go to the grocery store for me! At first I was a little hesitant knowing he would get different things than I would even having a list. Nonetheless I appreciated the help and let it go!
Tonight we were going to be having something quick and easy for dinner since I had to work and Bobby had a basketball game! He plays in a league on Monday nights! I heated up leftovers for Bobby and I and he fixed popcorn chicken and apples for Jake and Will. I knew the boys would be a little confused because I always buy chicken nuggets for them to eat and this was small round chicken bites. When Bobby brought their plates to them Jake looked and said "we eatin chicken balls for dinner."
Bobby and I busted out laughing because it was so cute and innocent. They did look like balls that were breaded with chicken in them. I thought it was so cute and funny but Bobby had to make sure that they knew it was popcorn chicken boy chicken balls. Bobby would be so embarrassed if Jake or Will ever said that put in public!
I know this is just the beginning of many many funny things that our kids say to us or say that will embarrass us as parents!

4 months

Trey is 4 months old today. I can not belive he is getting close to bring half a year old. He is my baby! I want him to stay like this for a long long time. It has gone by way to fast. It has been very hectic and busy around our house. But now we do not know what we would do without him. He is so loved. The older boys love and kiss on baby trey all day long. Will tries so hard to get right in his face and we have to remind him to back up and talk soft to trey!
4 months of cold meals sleepless nights total chaos and a very unorganized house. However 4 months of baby smiles and laughs sweet baby toes holding and snuggling staring at something so beautiful and perfect. 4 months ago did not know how we would live with trey and now we do not know what we would do without him. Trey you are loved so much!

Shoe Station

On Saturday we loaded up all the kids and headed up to shoe station to look for Bobby some new shoes. He desperately needed a pair. Jake and Will were playing with the shoes and each other while Bobby looked and I pushed trey in the stroller. I knew better than to walk over to my section or I would get 3 pairs pa shoes and Bobby none. So I just helped Bobby decide on a few pairs. In the meantime Jake and Will are standing by us and this older couple walks up to look at shoes right beside us. They leaned down and said "well hello are you both not handsome boys.".
Jake smiled and Will said "go away from me. You go away from me.". I just wanted to crawl under the stroller. Will would not stop saying it even after the couple walked away!
I hurried Bobby along and we got out of there as soon as possible. We will not be going back to shoe station anytime soon and if I do I will be wearing a wig and not bringing any of my children who can talk.
